DALLAS – The 2016 Neiman Marcus Limited-Edition Ford Mustang Convertible will go on sale October 13 with a price tag of $95,000.
The special model, one of the highlights of the 2015 Neiman Marcus Christmas catalog, features a one-off body kit with a special paint treatment and a specially tuned 700-horsepower supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine.
The car sprints from zero to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds.
Production is limited to 100 cars.
Other details include 20-inch wheels, a “race-inspired” exhaust and a Ford Racing School course.
The race to purchase the special pony car kicks off at noon EDT on October 13 at (888) 756-0775.
This isn’t the only muscle car to be featured in the annual dream book. A 2011 Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible offered by Neiman Marcus four years ago sold out in minutes.
The more mainstream 2016 Ford Mustang is expected to arrive at Ford dealerships this fall.
Edmunds says: Extravagant holiday shoppers will want to get in line for this special Mustang.
