The Elevation Edition, which was first introduced for the 2015 model year, returns with styling upgrades and connectivity technologies.
It is available on Sierra double cab models and targets the Ford F-150 King Ranch and Ram 1500 Sport.
Upgrades to the 2016 Sierra Elevation Edition include revised front-end styling with new high-intensity discharge project-beam headlights and a new radio with a 7-inch screen that incorporates Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability.
The base model is equipped with a standard 4.3-liter V6 engine that delivers 285 horsepower. An optional 5.3-liter V8 produces 355 hp.
Standard features include remote keyless entry, remote locking tailgate and a six-speaker audio system.
Pricing has not been announced on the 2016 Sierra Elevation Edition.
The 2015 version, which is on sale now, starts at $34,865, including a $1,195 destination charge.
