TORRANCE, California – The 2016 Acura TLX midsize sedan arrives at Acura dealerships on September 24, priced at $32,615.
Pricing includes a $920 destination charge and reflects a $250 price increase over the base 2015 TLX.
The base 2016 TLX is equipped with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.
American Honda Motor Co. said pricing on the 2016 TLX models with the nine-speed automatic transmission is unchanged compared to the 2015 model.
The top-of-the-line 2016 TLX 3.5L SH-AWD with Advance package starts at $45,702, including shipping.
The 2016 TLX is a carryover model. The all-new TLX debuted last year and replaced the Acura TL in the lineup.
The base 2016 TLX is equipped with a standard 206-horsepower 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder engine. Uplevel models get the 290-hp 3.5-liter V6 engine.
Key TLX rivals include the BMW 5 Series, Infiniti Q50 and Lincoln MKZ.
Edmunds says: Car shoppers can expect a minimal price increase on the base 2016 TLX and no increase on higher-end models.
