Ford Readies Holiday Sales Event, Ends Friends & Neighbors Promotion
|
DEARBORN, Michigan – Ford’s “Friends & Neighbors” sales promotion ends on November 30 and new incentives will roll out on December 1, the automaker told Edmunds on Monday.
Car shoppers should be aware that the “Friends & Neighbors” promotion had been scheduled to run through January 4, but is ending early.
“Starting Tuesday, Ford is moving to a new Holiday Sales Event,” wrote Elizabeth Weigandt, a Ford spokeswoman, in response to a query. “Dealers offered insights on the kinds of offers resonating most with customers in-market, and we are updating our plan based on their feedback. We will continue to be competitive yet disciplined on incentives and offers for customers.”
No details on the Holiday Sales Event were available at this time.
Ford touted the “Friends & Neighbors” event as an inside deal typically reserved for employees’ friends and relatives.
Like other automakers, Ford is hoping to end 2015 on a high note.
The Edmunds.com November forecast predicts that Ford will sell 191,126 vehicles this month, for a 2.6 percent increase compared to November 2014 and a 10.3 percent decrease from October 2015.
Edmunds says: Car shoppers who want to take advantage of “Friends & Neighbors” pricing should hustle over to their Ford dealer today.
