NASHVILLE, Tennessee – The 2016 Nissan Murano SUV is on sale now at Nissan dealerships with a starting price of $30,560, including a $900 destination charge.
The pricing reflects a $100 increase over the 2015 Murano.
The midlevel 2016 Murano SL front-wheel-drive model starts at $37, 950, including shipping.
The top-of-the-line 2016 Murano Platinum all-wheel-drive model is priced at $41,600, including shipping.
Options include a $2,260 Technology package, $395 premium paint and $1,720 20-inch five-spoke alloy wheels.
This is a carryover vehicle with no major changes for the new model year.
The standard engine is a 260-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 connected to a continuously variable transmission.
Key Murano competitors include the Ford Edge, Hyundai Santa Fe Sport and Jeep Grand Cherokee.
