2016 Infiniti QX60 Features Updated Exterior: 2016 Detroit Auto Show

NASHVILLE, Tennessee – The 2016 Infiniti QX60 luxury SUV goes on sale at Infiniti dealerships next year featuring a more premium look and new safety technologies. It will debut at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show.
The refreshed exterior of the QX60 is designed to make it more appealing against such competitors as the Acura MDX, Audi Q7, BMW X5 and Buick Enclave.
The updates include new LED daytime running lights, revised headlights and new exterior colors, including Hagane Blue and Jade Green. Suspension and steering updates improve ride and handling.
The addition of acoustic glass cuts down on cabin noise. The cabin also gets new soft-touch materials.
Infiniti added forward emergency braking, which is designed to prevent or mitigate crashes, to the QX60’s list of optional safety features.
The 265-horsepower 3.5-liter engine with a continuously variable transmission is carried over from the 2015 model. The 2016 QX60 Hybrid is equipped with a supercharged 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine, an electric motor and lithium-ion battery.
The three-row QX60 seats up to seven passengers and is available in front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
Pricing has not been announced.
Edmunds says: The 2016 Infiniti QX60 gets spruced up for the new model year, but shoppers in the market who don’t feel like waiting for this particular model have lots of excellent choices to consider.
