MAHWAH, New Jersey – The 2017 Jaguar F-Type coupe and convertible will arrive at Jaguar dealerships in late spring 2016 with new entry-level trims that slash the cars’ starting prices up to $3,600, Jaguar North America announced on Thursday.
The base 2017 Jaguar F-Type coupe is priced at $62,395, including a $995 destination charge for a $3,600 price decrease.
The base 2017 Jaguar F-Type convertible starts at $66,395, including shipping, for a price reduction of $2,700.
The base models come standard with a Meridian surround-sound audio system, navigation system, Sirius/XM Satellite Radio, leather-and-suede sport seats and Jaguar InControl Apps.
The new entry-level F-Types are equipped with a standard 340-horsepower 3.0-liter V6 engine linked to a six-speed manual transmission.
Pricing was not announced on the rest of the 2017 F-Type lineup.
Key F-Type competitors include the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, Porsche 911 and Porsche Boxster.
