DETROIT – The latest 2017 Buick LaCrosse teaser reveals a sleek new shape for the redesigned sedan that is expected to arrive at Buick dealerships next year. The LaCrosse will make its formal debut at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show.
The LaCrosse, which targets the Kia Cadenza, Lexus ES 350 and Toyota Avalon, is a key element of Buick’s transformation.
A teaser image of a new LaCrosse grille design inspired by the Buick Avenir concept was published in September.
The new look for the LaCrosse is intended to make the sedan more appealing to younger buyers.
Pricing and launch timing for the 2017 LaCrosse were not announced.
In the meantime, the 2016 LaCrosse is on sale now at Buick dealerships, featuring several improvements.
They include an updated IntelliLink system with a new display screen and two USB ports and optional 20-inch wheels on premium all-wheel-drive models.
Edmunds says: Car shoppers should take a good look at the silhouettes of the 2016 and 2017 Buick LaCrosse. The 2017 model gets a more contemporary profile and is a striking departure from the current version.
