2016 Scion FR-S Release Series 2.0 Priced at $30,305

TORRANCE, California – The new 2016 Scion FR-S Release Series 2.0 coupe is on its way to Scion dealerships with a starting price of $30,305, including a $795 destination charge.
The base FR-S Release Series 2.0 is equipped with a six-speed manual transmission.
The top-of-the-line FR-S Release Series 2.0 with a six-speed automatic transmission is priced at $31,405, including shipping.
In comparison, the base 2016 FR-S with a manual transmission starts at $26,100, including shipping.
Targeting high-end versions of the Ford Fiesta ST and Subaru BRZ, the 2016 FR-S Release Series is “the most stylish version of the sports car ever offered,” according to Scion.
The special model will be limited to a production run of 1,000 vehicles.
Exterior details include Lunar Storm paint, 17-inch forged alloy wheels and an aero kit with spoilers on the front lip and trunk.
The cabin gets heated seats in black Alcantara and leather with camel-colored accents.
Other luxury touches include a smart key with push-button start, dual-zone automatic climate control and HID headlights with LED daytime running lights.
