TORRANCE, California – The 2016 Honda CR-Z hybrid hatchback arrives at Honda dealerships on November 3, with a starting price of $21,130, including an $835 destination charge.
The pricing reflects a $165 increase over the 2015 CR-Z.
The new top-of-the-line 2016 CR-Z EX-L with a continuously variable transmission and heated seats starts at $25,925, including shipping.
Targeting the Hyundai Veloster, Scion tC and Volkswagen Beetle, the upgraded CR-Z includes new styling inside and out.
The redesigned front end features “an edgier, more chiseled look,” according to Honda.
A new standard item is a 7-inch Display Audio touchscreen with functions similar to those on a tablet computer.
Upgraded cabin treatments include a new brushed metallic finish to the door handles and center console.
An electric parking brake and Smart Entry with push-button stop-start is now standard on the CR-Z.
New accessories include LED foglights with blue accents and a fuel-tank lid garnish.
Edmunds says: Car shoppers will see a modest price increase on a spruced-up 2016 CR-Z.
