2016 Cadillac V-Series Crystal White Frost Edition Models Priced from $71,460
DETROIT – Cadillac’s new limited-production 2016 ATS-V and CTS-V Crystal White Frost Edition performance models will begin arriving at dealers by the end of this month, priced from $71,460, including a $925 destination charge.
That’s the starting price for the ATS-V sedans. ATS-V coupes are priced from $73,660, while prices for the CTS-V sedans start at $94,990, including destination fee.
In total, 99 Crystal White Frost Edition vehicles will be available: 31 ATS-V sedans, 39 ATS-V coupes and 29 CTS-V sedans.
The vehicles feature a unique low-gloss white finish that Cadillac says is engineered to be as durable as normal paint but requires special maintenance procedures, including hand-washing only and never using abrasive cleaners or waxes or polishes intended for normal paint.
And, the instructions say, rubbing too hard while cleaning “will burnish the finish, creating bright spots and an uneven appearance.”
In addition to the one-of-a-kind paint treatment, Crystal White Frost Edition models are equipped with special wheels and the Carbon Fiber and Luxury packages that are optional on regular V-Series models.
The ATS-V sedans and coupes come standard with carbon-fiber treatment on the front splitter, hood vent, rear diffuser, rocker panels and spoiler, as well as Luxury package items such as sport alloy pedals, the enhanced Cadillac CUE infotainment system with access to Apple CarPlay and navigation, Universal Home Remote and HID headlamps with adaptive forward lighting.
On top of those features, CTS-V Crystal White Frost Edition sedans add luxury touches that include tri-zone climate control, heated outboard seats and power rear-window sunshades.
Cadillac notes that, depending on model and on how dealers order these special-edition vehicles, optional equipment may include Recaro performance seats, a sunroof, performance data and video recorder, gold or red Brembo brake calipers, sueded microfiber steering wheel and shifter and an advanced security package.
According to Cadillac, the Crystal White Frost Edition models will only be available through select dealers and suggests that interested buyers call customer support at 1-800-333-4223 to locate the nearest retail location.
Primary competitors to the Cadillac ATS-V include the Audi RS 5, BMW M4 and Lexus RC F, while rivals to the CTS-V include the Audi S6, BMW M5 and Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG.
