NASHVILLE, Tennessee – The 2016 Nissan Versa subcompact sedan is on sale now at Nissan dealerships, starting at $12,815, including an $825 destination charge, Nissan announced on Tuesday.
Pricing is unchanged on the base 2016 Versa compared to the 2015 model.
Nissan cut the price of the top-of-the-line 2016 Versa 1.6 SL Xtronic model by $500. It starts at $17,915, including shipping.
This is a carryover model with minimal changes. They include body-color power outside mirrors now standard on all models and the addition of standard rear speakers for the Versa Sedan S.
The 2016 Versa SL adds a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
Two new exterior colors are Cayenne Red and Gun Metallic.
Key Versa rivals include the Chevrolet Sonic, Ford Fiesta and Hyundai Accent.
