NASHVILLE, Tennessee – The redesigned 2016 Infiniti QX50 luxury crossover goes on sale in September at Infiniti dealerships, priced at $35,445, including a $995 destination charge.
The pricing reflects a $550 reduction compared to the 2015 Infiniti QX50.
The top-of-the-line 2016 QX50 AWD or all-wheel-drive model starts at $36,845, including shipping, also for a $550 price cut.
“For 2016, the QX50 includes more than $1,700 worth of added standard features at a more accessible price when compared to the 2015 QX50,” Infiniti said in a statement on Friday.
Standard equipment now includes a moonroof and heated seats.
A $500 Premium package includes a Bose 11-speaker audio system, advanced climate-control system, Maple interior accents and aluminum roof rails.
The 2016 QX50 features a revised exterior, a more spacious cabin, a new design for the optional 19-inch wheels and a new Hagane Blue exterior color.
All versions are equipped with a standard 325-horsepower V6 engine and a seven-speed automatic transmission.
Key QX50 competitors include the Acura RDX, Audi Q5 and BMW X1.
Edmunds says: Car shoppers who put a premium on affordability will want to check out the 2016 Infiniti QX50.
